Emco emcomat 7

Some pictures of my emcomat 7 lathe. The milling attachment and some other stuff is sitting in the garage of a neighbor just down the street.

  1. Main drive belt and feed changewheels. Two things missing - the knob on the start-stop-reverse lever and the actual reverse gear...

  2. Most of the defects are shown in this picture; cross slide hand wheel broken, lead screw bent, lead screw mount broken and the saddle hand wheel bent.

  3. The Emcomat 7 just a few minutes after I took it home and placed it on the workbench.

  4. Another of the gearbox end.

  5. Gearbox end before I started taking it apart and cleaning.
