I am searching for a proper website name. The purpose of the website: to expose shitty Kickstarter and other fundraising intents on crappy projects especially CNC and related.

For the moment i came with Shitstarter, Kickofshame, ... Any better ideas there?

Why that? Maybe i am getting grumpy but how could i resist when i saw this just a moment ago:

Maslow CNC - a $500 open source 4 by 8 foot CNC Machine (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1830738289/maslow-cnc-a-500-open-source-4-by-8-foot-cnc-machi?ref=category_recommended)

Then i still remembered about this :

The First Desktop Waterjet Cutter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1294137530/the-first-desktop-waterjet-cutter)

Then the Nomad CNC (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/178590870/the-nomad-cnc-mill), and many others i don't quite remember now.

If the fools have so much money why they just don't throw it on the street or feed the poor. :sorrow:

Wow, what a cnc:

Boyan that's got to be the Best or should say Worst example of how NOT to do it.! . . . It's verging on Criminal in my eyes but each to there own and any that back it like you say have too much Cash and will reap the pain from there stupidity of not doing any research.!
My thinking is Leave them too it and not waste my time on it because sensible people will do there research, often finding the forum/s where we put them on the correct path.

I absolutely love the inventiveness of "whacky" ideas.:congratulatory:

You could go with KickSharter, Google "Shart" for a definition, it's also a word that describes someone thinking they were doing one thing and unexpectedly doing another ;-)

How about NonStarter or Nostarter? I think you are asking for a heap load of trouble though if you did such a site. Best policy is to let people get on with it. The saying a 'fool and his money' is there for a reason.

No much trouble than the anti paypal sites,. Plus i love Kickstarter and Indiegogo. I have nothing against them. What i dont love is people cheating other people.

Are you saying that two bricks are not standard parts of a CNC frame?

Well, this could go under the epoxy granite logo i suppose :smiley_simmons:. I don't know what to expect. A couple of days ago i could have said " No way a brick is a parts of a CNC machine, rather than the base on top of which the machine is sitting "

Who knows what the tomorrow will bring?

A couple of weeks ago i met a guy who said he wants to make a 3d printer that you feed dry tomato/ for example/ and it prints a fresh tomato bar or whatever that tastes like tomato. He asked me if this is possible with current technology. I said NO. He told me he has sb working on the idea. I answered -"better give me your money right now, i will start working on the idea tomorrow" cause, yes i have that printer. Its called "seed"+"water"+"sun"

Sounds like a good use to me. There's going to be a lot of camels around with relief showing on their faces.

Or is that a UK-only joke?

Ceramic mountings are the future.
