Hi Guys

I am new to this forum, but I regularly post of other milling machine forums,
The yahoo Tom Senior group being one of them,

I am more a manual miller type guy.

But I have been tasked with selling this Ex School (light used) Denford Triac PC cnc milling machine.

So there is the milling machine its self

A Denford very substantial milling table

it comes with its control box (the big black box)

Four Milling chucks

one drilling chuck

Denford Virtual reality cnc milling manual, Denford TechSoft2d design user manual, Denford VR CNC Milling C/D Ver 2.14

Having looked at some of the other Denfords Triacs sold on here, I think a reasonable starting price of £1,999 might be fair.

Piero,

Probably not what you want to hear but it's far too expensive.

Over the years I have bought quite a few from schools and colleges, usually for £100 up to £400 max but in all fairness these were decent machine but with far older software and broken, which yours isn't.

Once converted to Mach3 and a tidy up they sold for around £1,000 to £1200 but I have recently seen some on here at the £1400 mark.

The problem with yours is basically the software. It's got the Techsoft educational package which is all arty farty and no one in the hobby game has any experience of it so basically your machine although working really needs an upgrade.

Punters will buy Mach 3 as they know it and understand it. Techsoft is a non starter outside of schools.

So you have an expensive machine with special software which Techsoft won't support without a support contract and Denford electrics, all of which adds up to a nightmare when things go wrong.

At least if you buy say a Warco WM16 and convert it you will have spent less than you are asking and will have a machine you know ans can repair with no worries.

Incidentally the desk is a waste of space - literally. It's too big to go into anyone's shop and all they would do is bin it and use two old kitchen units and a builders plank and have a far more rigid desk.

Sorry it's not what you want to hear but look back and see how long some of these other Triacs took to sell.
