I've just taken deliver of a 3040 4 axis machine from Shanghai Shi Shun Machinery Equipment Co. Ltd.
All looks well on the face of it but the user manual (a .doc file) is corrupted and has none of the expected setup screen images and the supplier seems unable to let me have a copy that actually works.

Does anyone know where I can find a non corrupt copy? The file I have is named "CNCusermanual.doc" and every copy I've been able to find on google has the same symptoms.

I'd have thought that any 3040 manual would do as they're all pretty much the same?

Seafax - see PM, I **may** have a copy but best you have a look to check.

Seafax, try opening it in LibreOffice https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/

The first hit for "CNCusermanual.doc" on google would not open in Word, but does in LibreOffice.
I re-saved it as a working word file which you can download from here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24630720/CNCusermanual.doc
(I have no idea if it is the same one as yours though)

Cheers
