Hey everyone!
My name is Javier and I'm a young spanish engineer turning into a machinist. Well more like adding skills to my set. I've been working for the past year as a Mechanical Design engineer (with a tiny bit of workshop and electrical design work) for a manufacturer of special purpose machinery but now I've decided to set up on my own.
I have a little experience in machining and I'm marveled at all things CNC. Bought a 3DPrinter a few months ago and now considering my first mill and lathe for my little garage. I'm based in Reigate and very keen to meet other enthusiast machinists, hobby or professional, working or retired to meet, work together and learn from.
Otherwise I'm all over the place. I practice parkour, film some videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/javipk7), performed on last season of Ninja Warrior UK (http://www.itv.com/hub/ninja-warrior-uk/2a3704a0017), do some other art occasionally..
