I've no idea what exchange rate mechanism Autodesk, who are an American company, use to set their prices between different countries!

I merely asked as it's you who appears to be advertising the offer here :D

No problem at all. I noticed Ger21 (http://www.mycncuk.com/members/8582-Ger21) had posted details of an expired offer here (http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/10605-Today-only-ArtCAM-Special), so I posted the latest one.

That £204 includes VAT though, so realistically it's £170.
Still not that great, but not too bad considering the whole digital media sales tax hoops that now exist.

If cashback tracks successfully, which I posted about here (http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/10250-Vectric-Price-rises?p=91384#post91384), the overall cost would be reduced a bit further. I've used Quidco and Topcashback in the past with various retailers, and cashback is typically paid after a few months. Sometimes the cashback amount is calculated on the price excluding VAT, other times on the price including VAT.
