CNC Room in Thailand will soon be releasing a new breakout/ motherboard for the UC300ETH, called the UB1.

Specs will be similar to the excellent MB2 breakout board for the ESS.
24V I/O
2 Analog Inputs
2 Analog Outputs
0-10V Speed Control
3 relays
8 input safety circuit
5V isolated inputs for TTL device as well. The users can hook up low voltage MPG.

The UB1 uses 3 ports of the UC300ETH, and provides headers for ports 4 and 5.

Here's a test video of the first prototype.

CNC Room hopes to be ready to start shipping in about 1 month.

Thanks for the heads up.
It's a while since i had a look at their website. It often seems to be down or unresponsive

I was going to get an mb2 for the uc300eth, but I'll be ordering one of these as soon as they're available.

I pop in there fairly often, and have never had an issue with their site.

I'll probably be selling my MB2 as soon as I get the UB1.
The MB2 is excellent, and the UB1 should be even better for use with UCCNC.

Looks like a nice board Gerry, thanks for the heads up about it, I've sub'ed also.

Not sure what BOB i'm going to use on the current machine i'm building but this one looks very promising.

Hopefully I'll have one to play with in 5-6 weeks.
He's estimating 3 weeks before he can start selling them. I believe that they'll also require a UCCNC update to support them.

They won't be shipping for about a week, though.

Wanted to chime in on my experience ordering from CNCRoom direct (I always think twice about ordering from outside the EU on their website directly, so feel others should have some references!)

Anyhow, I found they were very quick to reply to my inquiries before purchasing, and the responses were from the UB1 designer himself so very knowledgeable and useful.

Payment via Paypal, so all is good there.

Coming from Thailand, I expected it to take a while... Ordered on the Wednesday evening and it arrived Monday morning via tracked and signed for Fedex. Cost about $20 USD above the advertised price online. Couldn't really be better.

Unfortunately they're an honest bunch, and put the true value on the paperwork. Scandalous. So do expect to get stung by the import fees for the full correct amount :)

No import fees to the US. :devilish:
