Actually very interesting, if you take it at face value they have solved one of the biggest issues which is dealing with the metal powders safely.

A good project but it reminds me of the Metal Clay idea, in fact if someone made a Metal Clay extrusion deposition system it would bypass all the new technology patents by using 100% prior art to get to a similar (possibly not quite as neat?) end result.

but can I print a 6.3l V8 with it? lol in which case I'm there.

Looks good for prototyping not sure about production though regardless what they say.

Well, no, not a V8 but it shows that the concept isn't fully nailed down by new patents and that means a possibility of the open source community doing something :D
