Hobby sized/desktop machine wanted for beginner.

Will just be machining marine ply up to 12.5mm thick.

Complete working set up required, including software and pc (pc optional).

I have looked at the ooznest machines and I quite like the look of those,
but if there is a cheaper used option to break me in I would be interested.

Cheers

The Ooznest machines are a fine start. Ask for Ryan, he'll be able to tell you about their capabilities.

Hey guys so I have a cnc router / engraver / cutter I've had for about 5 years now but it just doesn't get used.

It comes with the computer cad / cam software, milling bits the lot.

The bed does have a few cuts where I've made some over deep passes but nothing at all that would effect the levelling or how it works.

It's the machine showed in pic but with pc and all software too.

Would like to swap for a decent 3d printer or lathe or other workshop tool

Hi. I have a Boxford Duet combined lathe/ mill for sale that I purchased as part of a job lot from a school. It comes with the power supply, controller and a box of tooling. It’s in excellent condition and looks like it has had very little use. I had big plans for it, but in reality, it’s unlikely I will ever find the time to do anything with it, so it has to go. Open to offers.
