Vfd for 2.2kw spindle

Hi folks, silly question time, I am going to build myself a router, I am on a tight budget though, I am thinking of getting a Chinese water cooled 2.2kw spindle, now the thing is that I happen to have a Mitsubishi 2.2kw vfd, so my question is, will this work for the spindle?
