Hi all, so this is my first post to say hello to you all!

I am design engineer from India working on a variety of projects. My current project interested me to signup on forums that discuss motor drives and sensor interfaces.

My latest project is a open source single axis stepper motor controller using Allegro A3979 or TI DRV8811. I am having good results with a board that I made small, and used DRV8811 (with high MOSFET on resistance) on purpose, to check lower limits of heat sink area. The project page is here:

I will also be making 2-axis and 3-axis versions using the same chips, preferably to fit into Eagle freeware version (max size 100x80 mm) so that larger number of interested people can use it.

I am also planning on a ADC board with built-in signal conditioning. It will have two ADC channels from a National Semiconductors SPI ADC, and conditioning stage for each channel, that can take signals from millivolts to 18V, scale and shift them to suit the ADC input range.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.
