Hello,

I thought I'd sign up to this site as I am keen to learn a bit about CNC, particularily with the focus on possibly building my own, I have zero experience in this particular field but I am relatively competent with general engineering, I can't help feeling that a home CNC mill is a life changing piece of kit for a DIY enthusiast (or cheapskate in other parlance).

Hi Craig and welcome to the site. If you have general engineering skills building your own CNC machine isnt hard. There's a bit to learn, usually around the electronics side for most, but this site will help you get up to speed quickly...
