Hi, real name is Steve and I have recently taken delivery of a Heiz S-720 with WinPC-NC USB and Vcarve.
I bought the machine for several reasons. One to produce some tools that I sell (I had considered laser engraving systems for these but one of them needs to be in aluminium and needs to be profile cut) and for making interface jigs/fixtures for a cable tester.
An electronics guy by training I have cartesian experience in robotic PCB probers and inspection systems and machining experience with manual mill and lathe.
Hoping to learn a lot from you guys and eventually be able to contribute.
