i have a back ground in engineering but now due to health i just have a small work shop at home.
just getting in to cnc and have had read though forums but joined this as its UK and looks the best.

Do you know anything at all about Richard Haighton's Ltd (http://haighton.webhop.net) of Canning street from 1954-1972?

splendid! someone from my neck of the woods (i work in burnley)
i used to work at Platts in accrington back in the day making carding machines

im just getting towards the end of my build, i knew nowt about cnc when i started most of my research info and help has come from this forum
if youve got plenty of gumption i cant see anything getting in your way

iy.. tea n biscuits

well at the moment my machine tripping the fuses left n right
worked fine yesterday
think i might have dropped some swarf into one of the power supplies whilst re routing some cable :(
