HI All just to introduce myself im 52 years old and live in essex .and ive just started getting interested in building my own cnc and been scouring loads of sights. i was a toolmaker many moons ago but a bit before cnc and cad etc was about, so although ive no experience in that field and have long since been out of engineering i think i know what people are talking about. i have recently built a small prototype cnc out of a few of old printers and a bit of mdf i've had in my shed ,loosly based on other peoples designs but have yet to connect it up to any motors or power. this seems to be the hardest part for a lot of people and i hoped to use this sight for support.anyhow thats about me for now i,ll try to join in when i can but i'm also a bit of a buffoon on the computer (does'nt bear to well does it :lol:)
