In another thread i was asked about making a tank barrel "Imitation/Model" using OneCNC

I don't consider myself an expert nor am i getting paid commission.

The video is only a small part of the process and i am limited to 5 minutes with the Jing software.

If i get requests to do a bit more i might but don't like hearing the sound of my own voice too much.

Does anybody?

Good vid though.
If you get a chance, how about a demo of getting to the G-code stage?
(I'm just about to venture into the producing practical g-code, as my lathe is very near being in a functioning state!)

OK part two, i am showing the features of the software rather than just skimming through it, its gonna take about half an hour in total.

Great vids there m8 that looks like nice software to use. I have tried to cantact them a couple of times but nothing so far, I know they do not chase people but hell they do need to reply lol or they will never get anywhere hehe.
I have looked at a few differant options for cam and have got a demo pack for solidcam.
The milling is queit easy but the turning on the other hand is not and there was supposed to be guieds etc in the demo pack but all I got was a disk.
So far I have not found a good guied or vid of how to set up a turning job in relation to the geometrys etc so if anyone has anything out there for the turning side of solidcam please get in touch I would like to see how it compares to the likes of onecnc for ease of use.

I have added 4 cam videos showing how to produce the code for this part, also showing mistakes and how to get out of them.

Finally showing simulation and how good simulation can save you from making bad parts you do that with the software until you are happy to run the code.

If anyone would like to clarify anything just say the word.
