Just have a look on Ebay buy through that route, ther have been some good reports of the machines. Things to look out for are only single scews on the X axis so always ask if it has one or two. Two is always best :-)

First though is think about what you want to use it for? there are plenty of vids on youtube showing these things off so have a good look there first.

Are there any good agents or import handlers i can use based in the uk

Thats the point buying through ebay they sort the shipping out and you pay vat, tax delivery handling this end. all you would need to do is press the buy it now button (mail them first to get exact handling cost for this end). look at their main website and they explain all that and you can see their other machines too. depends which port it comes into you could pick it up saving more?
