hey guys.

So i should soon be getting my 3040SM machien with a 1.5kw spindle.

I have been looking at beefing up the sides and strutting the machine along the gantry and somewhere around the spindle.

I would just like to know/see what modifications you guys have done to your Chinese CNC machines to increase rigidity or improve performance in some aspect.

Replace the wiring looms from the start , save hassle of replacing them mid way through mincing a part.

Wiring hasn't been an issue for me. I think every machine is different, so just look over it carefully to check for possible problems. I don't think rigidity of the solid metal parts is an issue, but I think it would be nice to replace the screw with ballscrew. Maybe put stronger stepper motors and controller on it.
