Hello,

I am looking for a machinist, preferably in east London or Dartford area who will be able to cut a small part, similar to the one shown on the image below (click to enlarge). I have a plastic model which needs to be 3d-scanned. The next step will be an aluminium prototype, followed by 3-5 pieces cut in 1-2 mm thick iron (iron-nickel alloy to be exact). After 2-4 months I expect to need more pieces (a few small batches, 5-50 pieces each). The part is 0.2-0.8 mm thick and I need 0.1 mm precision.

6174

Many thanks,
Luc

Hi Luc,

I'd look at photo etching a thin profile like that, whether the step can be achieved as you wish may rule it out.
