Hi all, well ive been asked a few questions about the pockets and things. Ok the drawings i submitted above are were the concept Sketches only (although pretty complete), so here are some more complete designs to clarify things a little more.

The red shown are reference/datum surfaces only.I am also happy to provide the material for the job.

Loving this design Ric, nice one mate!

Just as a side note as i'm following your build log over there >>>, so read the posts about the pockets for the bearing units to fit in, i.e round cutters vs square corners, what you can do is over run the corners of the pocket with the cutter in both directions, this dosnt look "great" but if done well it can and allows the corner to fit into the pocket.

.Me Cheers Lee, I have made the pockets big enough to compensate for the corners. I will even be providing the files to do the job and if whoever is doing has V-Carve then all the better as that is what I've done it in. that's not to say I cant provide the drawings in other formats as the above drawings will show.

Whoever gets the job will get the added bonus of being able to produce some very nice Z-Axis.
