Hi all,
Been emailing a few companies in the UK and getting nowhere, so please PM me if you can help or know of anyone that may be able to do the work.

I'd like some precision screws and caps made in stainless steel (316L preferred). The smallest part is approx 1.6mm x 4.3mm tapped with a M1.3x25
Quantities from 200 upwards.

Please get in touch if you can help
Thanks. Mike

see attached pic below showing the dimensions i need.

That looks like a real fiddly job with lots of broken taps and scrapped work pieces. Tapping a 1.3mm thread into a blind hole is a nightmare in any material. Doing it in stainless steel is certainly not helping matters. Also, you'll need to make allowances for drilling and tapping depth as I very much doubt that anyone will be able to create a flat bottomed thread like you have drawn.

All in all, a bitch of a job and likely to be very expensive.

birchy, thanks for your input. I'm a newb with illustrator and glad it allows me to get my idea across.
Now that you mentioned it, the other end that screws into that cap is threaded shorter so i will need to show the machinist there's allowance.

Ad, thanks i'll contact Tony.
