fairplay to whoever built this.Its evident a lot of time has gone into it... but O M G. Is there anything actually right with this?

Oh dear. Is that 35mm DIN rail I see for the slides? And 1/2" chain for the drive? And a block of hard wood with a hole in it for the bearing? I love the masking tape on the front which says "Danger live mains" and has an arrow pointing towards an exposed board. The parts are clearly the standard Chinese stuff we all use...but bought from a British seller. What's it worth? Maybe a few hundred for parts?

when i first saw it and being a newbie, i did think can it be canabalised to make a decent machine, noticed what looks like kitchen drawer being used on one axis, gulp, maybe not

I'd love to see a video of it in action, perhaps cutting something tough like butter. I'd be prepared to bet you could see the flex in it.
