Hi: just a brief introduction. I've been thinking about building a small CNC woodworking router for some time and have decided to take the plunge. I've been making furniture (slowly) for a number of years and have a longstanding very amateur interest in engineering and electronics, and in design. And in old cars...
CV includes: School: worst in class at woodwork, best in class at engineering drawing. Night school - Fitting & turning: only broke one Bridgeport, but still have all my fingers and most of my teeth.

I've joined the forum to draw on the experience of others (and perhaps in time to make a few contributions of my own).

Hi, wellcome to the forum. Breaking a Brigdeport gives you a good start (lots of starters don,t even know what that is!).
Good luck with your cnc build, I'm sure you will get plenty of help and advice here. G.
