I've seen several folks struggle getting stuff from him and one guy in particular really went to great lengths tracking him down publicly and still didn't get it after been promised. . . I certainly wouldn't be sending him my money in a hurry.!!

If you have an old xbox controller kicking about, use that with the plugin on the mach3 support site

I have a Jog-It! pendant here, also from Kickstarter. I don't think that there are currently any plans to manufacture more, as they are not terribly profitable, and apparently wee rather time consuming to make. They are open source, and all the info needed to make them is available from the web page.

For about the same price, an XBox controller is far more powerful and flexible.

Just had a further look into this Xbox controller idea, there are 2 plugins here;
Plugins - Newfangled Solutions (http://www.machsupport.com/software/plugins/)

And there are these on ebay;
USB Wireless Gaming Receiver 4 PC Adapter for XBox 360 Games Controller Consoles | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-4-PC-Adapter-for-XBox-360-Games-Controller-Consoles-/290756205609?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameAccessories _VideoGameAccessories_JN&hash=item43b26b9c29)

I use one of the wireless usb adapters as in your link, got the controller itself cheap when they updated the xbox os and you couldn't use spurious controllers. I don't remember seeing the shilling plugin when I installed mine, and I remember having issues with the 32eng... File. Still all works fine now

Quote - Eddycurrent "What's wrong with these ?" Mach 3 cnc pendant | eBay .

Hi - Eddycurrent. I only just got round to fitting this pendant. Although a little flimsy in build quality/durability. I think if used with a little care it will be fine.
Plugs straight into USB port. Set the XYZ(+) in the "pins and ports" hotkey column.This is simply a case of checking the relevant boxes and pressing the respective keys on the pendant. I automatically sets the axis movement to that key.
IN short:- Does what it says on the box!
For that price I can live with flimsy?

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like I'll give it a try, seeing as I'm not one of those rough arsed mechanical types :hysterical:

Well been using this all afternoon and, balanced against a keyboard. I would now, not like to be without it. For sure.
Given the build caveats, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for the money.

Sorry meant to clarify for anyone with an interest.
This IS NOT the JOGIT pendant.
It is the *bay one from China
