Has anyone tried the DesignSpark 3D software from RS?

It seems to have something to do with Spaceclaim, have not installed yet but is it a free lunch ?

I had a quick outing with it.

Seemed to be a free but very basic lunch - I would simply try it out it should only take a few minutes dabbling around with the menu system to get a quick idea of what it can and cannot do.

My reference point is Solidworks and this is very very basic on that level but if all you want is simple modelling
then it may very well be fine.
