Hi MVCat,

Any pics yet? what kind of mill is it? proper mill like Irvings or a router type like mine?

Looking forward to seeing them anyway and welcome to the forum!

Irving! thought you'd left us :)

Impressive isn't it, only thing you could mount on that for a spindle is a tank engine :)

Never ceases to amaze me what people build in their sheds. Best hobby I ever got into.

NICE JOB MVCAT!

Jeff.

Thanks for all your positive feedbacks. In the matter of the spindle,I'm not going to use anything large in first setup, one dc motor 200w3350rpm and a spindle I made myself.Spindle housing of steel with small head(one collet diameter;have few pieces of these,3,4,5,6,8 holes),I have some angular bearings(7201C),and I think it will be good for the first run.Later,I have in mind spindle with morse 3,ER20 collet chuck, which I also plan to do myself, and servo motor with VFD.

Jeff, not yet... just pressures of work and going through the pain of a new kitchen and bathroom thats already 4 weeks overrunning, so little time for hobbies!
