Dear all, I have done a number of CNC projects and have always used a ArcEuro`s 4.2A Bi-Polar Stepper Motor Driver. My latest project may not even work and I`m concerned with spending so much on the drivers! When I first purchased drivers from Arc many years ago, the stepper drivers were selling for £38 but they have now nearly doubled in price:

In all honesty, up to a 3A driver would be enough - in fact, I don`t think I have any motors in my spares draw above 2.x amp. I remember last time I used a driver, another hobbyist commented on how cheaply identical drivers can be purchased from china on ebay! I have looked but there are lots of choices. I certainly would like something a little more reliable than the TB6560 unless these have improved over the last few years. Can anyone recommend a reasonable stepper driver similar to those sold by Arc? I`m not in a rush so ordering off ebay or china is fine if the price is right.
