Hi All.

I'm Ben and new to CNC. We're looking to buy a laser to cut 8x4ft sheets, I know...we like to think big! Got some info for a Bystronic machine that looks promising.

Will appreciate any tips on what to look for/avoid and any advice on reliable makes and also what software is user friendly.

Thanks.

Step back and take a moment to think about fume extraction
Often missed but vital
There are some evil compounds given off with sublimation

Thanks Poshpaws. We're going to start a bit simpler and opt for a milling machine. Any tips?
