Ideally a vertical one , but flat bed is ok

Ideally looking for a full setup

Need a cutting size of 8 x 4 ft approx

What's not very expensive? If you give a budget then it might elicit more responses. Saying that most people on here (at least it seems that way to me anyway) are DIYers and will have built their own. Does it have to be a full sheet, can't it be a half sheet. Reason I'm sayng that is that it cuts the cost down enormously and brings it more into the realms of the average DIYer....I take it you're not looking to build one yourself, which would be the cheapest route?

Generally I also consider the resale value such that; actual cost = purchase price - sale price. Obviously the longer you keep it the longer the 'out of pocket' period.

Thanks guys, I didn't realise that it was mostly a diy build forum ,

I need a machine capable of cutting a 2400 x 1200 sheet, I know I could save money on a smaller machine but I don't want to , I have a budget of 6k B2B ie Inc VAT or 5 k from a private source ... Which I consider realistic given my recent conversations with China manufacturers ... It is my preference to have one now though ... Not to wait ...

Hope that helps

A lot of our members run commercial CNC operations but they still diy their machines because they get exactly what they want and value for money. Building it yourself means you know it intimately and therefore not reliant on dubious 3rd party support.

All depends if you want a finished item or a project to finish off.
