I'm busy installing everything into a steel cabinet , and now I'm thinking about electrical noise

I've seen a few pics of it done, but wanted to know if anyone had problems doing it

I've got
4 servo drives
3 power supplies
2 VFD's
1 bob
Computer (mobo drives power supply etc)
Whole bunch of fans on the one side

I would really like to keep it like this as it makes the install really neat.

A rack mounted PC would be nice, I've put all my stuff in one box but the PC was seperate in it's own tower case. I've had no noise problems with mine.
Just keep power cables physically seperate from signal (segregation), if they do need to cross then do it at right angles to each other, then you need to obey the guidlines for;
earthing, screening, manufacturer installation instructions for all components, cable types and sizes, magnetic shielding(PSU transformer), I'm sure there's more.:uncomfortableness:

Even as i was tempted, i wouldn't put the VFD together with other stuff. Their place is outside the box.

It does not have to be that way and in industrial installations it is normal to put vfd's in the same cabinet provided the rules are obeyed, read this; http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/in/drives-in001_-en-p.pdf
