Hi Guys

Does anyone know where I might get a Gcode for an Omega symbol ?
Specifically im after one like the Omega watches use.

Are there any data bases for free to use Gcodes ? I have looked but cant find much.

While Im getting the grips of my machine, Im struggling with drawing packages and finding at the mo Im just not getting the time to get sat down and learn !

Id appreciate any help. Thank you

Carl

There's a programme called F-Engrave that is open source that generates gcode from text. It may support a Greek font that will have the omega symbol. It's a useful little program that I've used for a couple of engraving jobs.

Do you want a vector outline or a single line centre line to engrave along ?

Spot on, download yourself a free copy of Inkscape. https://inkscape.org/en/

With your original jpg you first do a 'Trace Bitmap', then you do a 'Stroke to Path', I then load into CamBam to clean it up, select all and do a 'join', export to dxf.
