Hello All,

Whilst I convert my AMA30 to Belt drive i've been looking at spindle options over the classic Chinese spindle. I've come across a company who's producing the following options for a Brushless DC Motor and Controller.

1100W 3600rpm

1100W 6000rpm

2200W 3600rpm

2200W 6000rpm

I'm more interested in the 2.2KW version so I've attached the manual and listed the essentials.

Power (W)

Speed (RPM)

Shaft

Pole

Torque (N.M)

2200

3600

42

8

6.1

2200

6000

42

4

3.5

0-5v or 0-10v input for speed control.

Has anyone used something similar? I mainly mill mild steel and aluminium.

David

It looks like it's the same as the kit linked in the following.

Very true although at the price point of these and the chinese spindles, there's no chance of getting one either :)
