Hi guys, could anyone help with the wiring of this vacuum pump from China - see image attached. Need to wire it to a mains single phase 230v supply.

Unfortunately, that's a three-phase motor with star/delta wiring options for 240V or 380V. It can be run off single-phase (probably), but it's not a quick wiring job. There has been a thread recently, I think, that was talking about something very similar although I think that one was a compressor rather than vacuum pump. No difference at the wiring level, though.

Thanks Neale! I wasn't sure whether there was a 3 phase supply in the premises but there is so we can have it wired up directly. I will have a look at that thread though out of interest.

You could run it but you will need 2 capacitors. 1 to start and 1 to run. As its a vacuum pump so its low power, for the same money VFD will be better

Ive just managed to get my 3 Phase Vacuum Pump running on a 4KW VFD.
