Hi,
follow up of this thread (http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/8970-Vacuum-table-Setup-Advice/page7) about vacuum pumps and this one (http://www.mycncuk.com/threads/8294-DIY-Vacuum-Fixtures?highlight=vacuum+pump) for vacuum fixtures, is that i bought the Alcatel 2010 /7 cf per min/ vacuum pump from ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Edwards-Pfeiffer-Leybold-Adixen-Alcatel-2010-Vacuum-Pump-/181690689432?hash=item2a4d9be798:m:mj5CrS5pdNColDk fYAopW6A)and am waiting for it come next week.

I bought it altogether with original exhaust and the clamps. Was going to do it with 2 capacitors but right now Arturas / the guy selling them/ offered me Eurotherm VFD, so i will buy that also from him. By the way, very helpful and knowledgeable seller. Plus i have seen the pumps he sells and they are excellent.

So later will be some photos of my setup, but more or less i will follow what Arturas makes. take a look at the photos he send me of his Vacuum stations. BEAUTIFUL!

So now i will go out for orange paint and start destroying an old compressor to give it new life :-)

Notes:
-I was thinking first to use directly the pump, no deposit, but when i saw those beauties, i decided to make one
-The good thing of this system is that its silent and only 0.37kw for 7cf per minute. aint that great + the deposit...
-Now the capacitor thing will not work for me. Due to the need to automate things. The capacitor thing is cheaper but i have to be present to switch start and run capacitor manually. Not so with the VFD

What you say guys?
