Hi everyone
I am dave, 54 year old HMI engineer looking to get into cnc..been looking at the stepcraft range...but still a month or so away from committing to purchase.....want a turnkey solution so I can learn at the coal face so to speak...computers I'm good with but no experience of actual tool end....what advice and models, brands etc...looking at wood carving...guitar body work....signs.....thanks

I replied to your post about the Stepcraft - hope that's helpful. We should talk - my business Wolfram Slides (http://wolframslides.com) makes products for guitarists (my Stepcraft has been manufacturing a lot of the packaging) and electric guitar bodies and necks are definitely on my list to try! It is certainly possible - check out this video:

Hi yes read your reply and it's very helpful. ..yes when I get my cnc bodies are definitely on the list necks maybe later...initially carving into bodies and maybe later getting laser for decorating bodies.....let's keep in touch are you or your business on Facebook
