    Only just noticed your comment. The milling machine is one I converted to CNC. I just used a simple CAD program to draw out the toolpath, then imported that into Cambam and used the engrave tool to make it follow the path. I then switched the axis in mach 3 so that the Z axis was Y...

    Hey that's my video!
    I'm intending to make a whole chess set at some point - I'm leaving it until I've made my better4th axis though. This method using the drill chuck does work well however it wastes quite a lot of material since I can't clamp a long bar in the chuck.
