Elliott 181 knee mill with a CNC conversion

The mill is quite small and compact and has had an enclosure built to contain a coolant system.
Its dimensions are 1500mm x 1500mm x 1800mm, weight estimated to be 750kg,it will fit neater into a corner as its actually T shaped.
The mill is running Linuxcnc/pathpilot. The original parts are being sent with the machine should someone at a later date wish to put the mill back to its original manual machine configuration and include the planer and multi axis head attachments.

MT3 tooling, manuals/documentation and spares included. It has been and still is a much loved little machine. An attempt was made at building a power drawbar and a 4th axis sadly project are not quite complete, needs some tlc. However the control cabinet has been wired to operate the 4th axis

The mill has a 3 phase inverter for the 2.2 kw spindle motor fitted and runs from a single 220v socket. The spindle is an MT3 taper and runs up to 7000 rpm.
