Hello from Wales

I just stumbled across this forum and it looks interesting so I signed up. Although I have twenty years machine shop experience, I haven't done anything engineering related for over ten years now and I often get misty eyed when I reminisce.

I recently bought a CNC router at auction and I've got the urge to start cutting stuff again. I don't have any experience of wood cutting, and I'm sure things have moved on a lot since I last cut any steel, so it's gonna be fun catching up, re-learning, and learning anew. One day I'd love to have a mill, lathe etc but have no time, space or money so I'll just play around with my router for the time being.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, I'll head off now and explore the forum and look forward to being able to contribute in future.
