EMCO PC55 MILL

Emco PC55 CNC Milling machine in full working order.

I am told it was only ever used to machine plastic and that looks correct judging by its condition which is very good.



Complete with the following.

Computer with windows ME, flat screen monitor, keyboard and mouse.

WINCAM software which includes a CAD mode, CAM mode and CNC control mode (no need for mach3 or any other software). With this software you can design the part in CAD mode. Program the part in CAM mode which writes the CNC program for you and then run the CNC program in the CNC control mode. It also has 3D simulation graphics.

Also comes with A9CAD Cad software which looks like an AutoCAD Clone.

The CNC programs generated by the cam module can be output in ISO format or FANUC 0/21 format. Other formats are available as add on options. If you want you can generate your own programs with other software and import them into the WINCAM system.

This machine is in excellent condition with very good software.

Emco is an Austrian company and the machine is built to German engineering standards and is very accurate.

This is NOT a cheap machine which has been converted to CNC. It is a professional machine built and supplied to schools and colleges for training.

It can machine various materials such as plastic, wood, non ferrous metal such as aluminium, brass and copper. It can also machine steel if you don't take heavy cuts.

The WINCAM manual is very comprehensive and includes various program examples.

The software includes tool libraries and many professional features found on industrial systems.

The video shows a program running but all the moves are in rapid traverse with the spindle stopped. This is called dry run mode and is used for testing out the program without cutting anything. The spindle does work under normal operation.

I WILL HAPPILY DEMONSTRATE THE MACHINE WORKING BUT I WILL HAVE TO DO THIS USING SOCIAL DISTANCING. IF YOU COME TO PICK IT UP, I CAN SHOW IT WORKING IN MY GARAGE WITH YOU KEEPING YOUR DISTANCE THEN YOU CAN LOAD IT TO YOUR TRANSPORT.

IF I DELIVER IT, I CAN SHOW IT WORKING IN MY VAN THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE IT.



IT CAN BE LIFTED BY A COUPLE OF STRONG PEOPLE AND WILL FIT IN THE BACK OF AN ESTATE CAR BUT A VAN WOULD BE BETTER.
