Hi from Cumbria

Hello to everyone.

I'm interested in making a start in the world of CNC but at present I'm a complete beginner it has to be said.

I don't have huge experience in machining or electronics to draw on - but I am fairly proficient with a knockometer (3lbs variety).

I've ordered a Stepcraft kit from Rory as a way of getting started. As I say I'm starting from scratch so I thought a kit would help me learn. Also I will get some experience with the software and setting up a machine.

In time I might consider doing a DIY build once I feel I've got a bit more experience under my belt.
