Im new to thread cutting on a cnc lathe and havent done any in the past. Looking at the tips in a machinists drawer i see there are different ones according to what tpi a thread is. My question is do i have to create a tool in my solidcam library for every single different tpi thread or can i just get away with the one tip? Apologies if the question sounds daft but like I said im new to threadcutting and want to learn how to do it correctly.
