OK, time to heed the advice of people on here and change build material

I have decide to upgrade in the new year and go for a cnc built from steel or ali. Will need to cut a 4'x2' sheet of mdf/ply etc. Can some one, if they have time do me a design that would be easy to build with minimum tools. I have no drill press, but do have a welder, angle grinders etc. Also maybe a list of what would be required in the way of rails and ballscrews......... I like the style of Jon's low gantry design
