Emco vmc100 mill and tm 02 control help!!!

Hi, does anyone know how to cancel/delete an alarm on the control. Manual is vague so need to know what mode it should be in and which buttons to push.. I have managed to fire up my uncles mill and control after at least 20 years of it standing in a workshop unused. Lubrication pump works and I have been able to jog table in x and y and (z turret down only) it seems to be looking for reference points and I can't move z axis upwards If anyone can offer and help and or advice I would be very grateful and if anyone could spend an hour or so looking at the machine to help me get it ready for sale I am willing to pay for their time and travel costs. Mill is in Portsmouth
