Hi everybody, I am a new member. I love to write software at asm level for pic micro controllers, I design electronic projects and recently decided to buy a cnc3020t machine to play about with. The machine as you probably know works with mach3, but I wanted to make a manual controller for it so here's what I am working on :

Any 3,4,5 axis machine videos on you tube I can watch all day long.!!
Now I need to learn about different types of cutters,speeds,feeds and materials they can cut. On my cnc I have made several engravings using alu composite and today I have been testing on 3mm acrylic, So if anybody knows of any books dedicated to cutters and speed, feed rates, general small cnc info that would be great.
