The difficult bit here is probably fabricating a drawing of the part. Have you got any drawings which could be transferred into a CAD program to make a 3D model?
Thanks Johnathon I only sketched out what I wanted to do .It changed as I built it up .Probably frowned on by your community Ideally it would a better design if it was taller & less depth .
    Thanks Peter

why would it be frowned upon?? i guess you've not read many build logs yet.. things change hourly in them threads lol.

these guys are very helpful here, i think you'll find someone to help with your idea.. my personal opinion is the way you are currently doing this will have you rocking in a corner somewhere before you complete it. and if you did you wouldnt get identical ones, at least with a cnc you could make near perfect copies

Hello everyone I have got Pheonix working well . The fibre glasser is coming on Tuesday. I am having great difficulty finding any one to do a 2d/3d drawing they say they can but as yet to no avail . i am very pleased with the performance far exceeded my expectations . If any one can do a drawing for me i am sure we can come to an amicable arrangement
    Thanks Peter

Hello there. Love the pics . My design is not like the er Nautilus I tried to make it like a tuba it is more elongated with a gentle even taper down to 25mm it is the first pics that I have seen in CAD. I only did sketches . If you went to hifiwigwam there is a later pic . Do you think you could do it for me in CAD to be able to get it machined out out of solid ? .It has given me a real boost to see it. My thanks again hope to hear from you soon Peter

I have at last found someone to draw 2d/3d cad for me it is being drawn now . It is a relief for me . The prototype has been glassed needs the final skim & polish for the mould to made in the next week . I am so pleased over the outcome . The performance has exceeded my expectations by some margin . I will need some one to cnc router out of solid for me if anyone can help I would be most grateful . It has taken me 6 months well over 700 hours . I must be mad !! don't answer it I already know . It has taken its toll on me medically . I saw my hospital specialist he said have you had any stress lately oh no no no I said The designer said how on earth did you make it & how long . I said British grit & determination .I have tried 5 15" drivers bored 3 out to take a tweeter . would you believe that the cheapest sounds the best at the moment . Seriousley thinking of making my own up to my specs . Here i go again .

Thanks everybody for your help be in touch soon Peter

Hello everyone I am back . Had my long term illness come back with a vengance been in hospital for a while . I must come clean about it I have had ulcerative colitis for most of my life it jumps up & bites you with no warning The begining of the year had a massive reaction to azathioprine medication . rushed into hospital recently could not control my condition with cortizone. My only chance was Remicade .It is not recommended for over 65 s it was administered late at night it worked within a few hours so grateful

It has given me a life which I havent experianced before . Just got to get my strength back .My greatest thanks to Winchester hospital
I have the 2d drawing done to be able to cnc in 2 or 4 parts is there anyone who could undertake the machining for me please .

    Many thanks Peter
