  2. Looks like I'm off to Stoke Mandeville on Thursday. looking forward to getting into rehab though its going to be tough. SM not great for my family though, a good 40min drive. Was hoping for RNOH Stanmore which is 5min from home but no beds there in next few weeks.

I told you before but perhaps you didn't fully understand it then, "there is no gain without pain". It's a phrase you will hear many times in the coming weeks/months/years, & perhaps your friends & family wouldn't want to visit with someone who has given up to curl up in a ball & wishes his world was a better place than this one.

40mins is nothing, I would walk the entire earth over hot coals to see my nearest & dearest.

SM is a good place, a few weeks/months there would be well spent. One day soon you'll be in Stanmore wishing you were back in SM & one day you'll be somewhere else wishing you were back in Stanmore. Everyday you need to work a little bit harder than the last.

Just learned summat new.... Stoke Mandeville and Stoke City are more "geographically dispersed" than I had thought.

Good luck with the rehab Irving... At least you'll be further away from the pollution of the big smoke ;-)
