    Ive already got some on order but thanks anyway. Looks like the protection diode is built in. I think that's whats gone short circuit.

    OK - it varies, e.g. the DQ860MA add external diodes from the phases to DC bus, as they're higher speed so offer better protection against unplugging whilst powered on. The m752's I've seen don't have these.

    New IGBTs and cooling fan arrived today. Fitted new parts and rebuilt the driver. Tested and working ok.
    Ive setup my limits and home switches and can now home all axes.
