Hi my name is Simon and I'm a engineer from Kent, I work as a maintenance engineer for a large bakery, I have a big interest in mechanical engineering and want to melt cast and engineer my own metals, I love building stuff and I need to build my own cnc mill!

Ooooo a new mill build log on the horizon, I cant wait to view and follow along.

1 question though...as well as the metal work viewing, will you be providing the cakes and doughnuts as well ?

Hi Simon, welcome to the forum!! One of my aims is also to cast metals (aluminium first) but I've not got round to collecting the bits for the furnace yet! Hopefully soon though!

Thanks guys for the lovely welcome and and yes cakes tea and coffee a plenty! Well I also have plans to build a lathe too! But first a workshop needs to be built first! But it will all be documented for all to see and maybe I will video it and put it on YouTube.
