    hi chaps. I was able to pick up a new sieg sx2p cheaply. now I wish to cnc convert the machine. I have seen a few videos showing this machine cutting on utube once converted but know detail on how the conversion was done. I am in the uk so not really interested in American kits due to cost etc.
    can anyone point me in the right direction on how to undertake the work. thanks. michael

    Welcome to the forum,
    Just had a quick look over @ model engineer.co.uk and couldn't see anything but it does give some info on making improvements, pitty you didn't buy the X3 as it comes fitted will ballscrews.

    Thanks, I found a write up on the conversion. Does not look to hard to do.so will obtain the bull screws needed and make a start
