Has anyone taken apart a bearing carriage from HiWin and seen how it is made? I'm just wondering if it is possible to make our own?

You can look inside... in short not a chance. The tolerances are incrediblty tight, so grinding machines are the only way. The nearest you get to homemade is the 'skate bearing' method which leaves a lot to be desired

Any pictures of the insides? Is it too hard to cobble together a CNC grinder?
